Job Overview

We are looking for qualified candidates to join our Accounting Department as an Accounting Supervisor.

As an Accounting Supervisor, you should supervise our Accounting staff’s day to day operations. You should also work with our Accounting team to manage financial accounting functions like bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and so on. 

You should ensure that our financial management will be accurate. You should also be efficient to make comprehensive financial reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily accounting transactions including bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.

  • Prepare forecast revenues and budget reports.

  • Appoint and train new accounting employees.

  • Prepare monthly and annual accounting reports.

  • Carry out the annual audit by giving information and answers to auditors.

  • Check the progress of accounting and financial objectives.

  • Make policies and procedures to support the company’s targets.

  • Keep sensitive and important information confidential and ensure financial security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline. Master degree in Accounting will also be considered.

  • A  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will be an advantage.

  • Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Assistant, or a similar position in the Accounting Department.

  • Ability to ensure the accounting practices are in compliance with the laws.

  • Excellent working knowledge of accounting and procedures including account operations activities.

  • Good working knowledge of accounting software.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to explain and discuss financial data with team members.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Good time management skills.

  • A keen eye on details for accuracy.

  • Great listening skills.

  • Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information.

  • Strong work ethics.
