Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and qualified Compliance Officer to join our Legal Department.

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible to monitor the Corporate Compliance Program. You should make sure that all business operations are in accordance with the laws and regulations. 

You will also review the internal compliance issues or concerns within the organization and take measures to resolve them. 

You will be reporting to the CEO and board of directors. Your ultimate goal is to ensure that all business activities are carried out as per legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the legal compliance program for the company.

  • Review and update the standards of conduct in the organization.

  • Monitor all the business processes to identify weak performing areas.

  • Analyze the compliance risks involved in business operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all accounting business.

  • Coordinate with other departments to identify compliance issues and direct them to the right channels for further investigations.

  • Consult with a corporate attorney to resolve the compliance issues.

  • Train to employees concerning the company's compliance program.

  • Resolve employee’s concerns over legal matters.

  • Understand professional business standards and industry practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management or related field.

  • 5 years of experience working as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager or a similar role.

  • Professional compliance advanced degree/certifications such as CCEP will be preferred.

  • Familiar with all business state and local regulations.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organization and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver.

  • A keen eye on details for accuracy.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Ability to work in teams.
