Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and professional Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. Your role is to provide support and technical assistance regarding any software and hardware issue. This role requires a lot of knowledge and experience to troubleshoot problems and errors. You should be quick in response to the queries and well aware of the technical difficulties and how to resolve them in a best possible way.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers to download applications and use peripherals

  • Provide technical assistance to the clients regarding any issue

  • Communicate with the clients to dig in the real problem

  • Personalize new applications regarding client issues

  • Ensure all the computer systems are working properly

  • Refer unresolved issues to the higher officials and provide useful suggestions

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing the best solutions to their queries

  • Maintain and update the record of issues and take measures to prevent those issues in future

  • Make report of the customer queries

  • Troubleshoot any problems regarding software and hardware

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, IT or relevant field

  • Remarkable knowledge of working with Windows/ Linux and Mac OS systems

  • Proven experience of working as a Desktop Support Engineer

  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and their peripherals such as printer, scanner etc.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient knowledge of antivirus software

  • Problem solving and multitasking skills
