We are seeking a skilled Health Unit Coordinator to join our Healthcare unit. As a Health Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible to do all tasks mandatory for our medical operations. You will also act as a point of contact between the patients and medical staff for the administrative requirements of the unit. Your main objective is to make sure that all information about any patient is recorded in the databases adequately.

Greet the patients and hand out forms (Admission and discharge) to them.
Maintain schedules and appointment calendar for each patient.
Interpret doctors’ order and prescription to patients.
Manage graph vital sign progress and medical charts of patients.
Keep the record of patients all documents including forms of admitting/discharge, certificates of death/birth and so on.
Update data of a patient in the databases to keep a record.
Work with both non-medical and medical staff.
Monitor stock and order all required supplies when needed.
Assist with different assigned duties (e.g. collect patient documents, schedule diagnostic test etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
2 years experience of working as Health Unit Coordinator.
Professional NAHUC certification and HUC training will be preferred.
Proficient with using databases and medical records.
Good communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of medical terminologies.
Excellent experience in medical transcription.
Outstanding organizational, customer service and multi-tasking skills.
