Job Overview

We plan on hiring an efficient Production Artist to manage creative projects for our Print and Production team. You should make sure that the projects you are assigned meet the client’s requirements. 

As a Production Artist, your role will be firstly taking on designs during the final phases of development, making some improvements and finally production. You should be preparing them for print and digital publications. 

In addition to this, you should ensure that the design team maintains the utmost accuracy in their designs. The creative team and you should be adhering to all the design standards. The digital and print designs that you work on should meet the client requirements and high-quality standards. 

To be successful in this role, you should be a technical and creative person. If you have a keen eye for detail and the right technical skills to format different illustrations and images, this role will be a perfect one for you. 

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Product Managers to come up with accurate design requirements.

• Collect and process other production artists’ works to output the final design.

• Review layouts, graphics, and fonts before the products are completed.

• Finalize the design and use the most accurate image editing programs.

• Retouch the images to improve their quality in both digital and print formats.

• Suggest improvements in the design patterns and implement the same.

• Manage the prepress process for the print files.

• Follow timelines to ensure you have timely publications.

• Follow up with clients to ensure that their requirements are met.

• Keep yourself updated with the latest graphics designing trends, programs, and techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Designing, Visual Arts or related field.

• Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, Production Artist or similar job role.

• A strong portfolio of creative projects is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with the best image editing tools and graphics designing software.

• Expertise with pre-flighting tools and printing process.

• Basic understanding of web development systems, HTML and CSS.

• Strong attention to detail with exceptional creative skills.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time.

• Excellent written as well as oral communication skills.
