We are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for buying the best quality products, materials or services at the most competitive rates for our company. You will be managing the vendors and discover the most cost-effective deals for purchasing the materials required for our business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the need to purchase products.

  • Plan and execute cost-effective purchasing strategies.

  • Forecast the demands of products and materials.

  • Research about the vendors that are selling the best products at competitive prices and negotiate with them to arrive at an affordable pricing.

  • Maintain relationship with all stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers.

  • Keep record of all purchased items and vendors and monitor the stock levels.

  • Present inventory reports to higher management.

  • Supervise the inventory staff.

Requirements

  • BS in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

  • 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Agent or Officer.

  • Familiar with market trends.

  • Understanding of Purchasing management software such as SAP, Oracle SCM Cloud etc.

  • Ability to negotiate with vendors and forecast the demand levels.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong decision making skills.
