Job Overview

As a Construction Supervisor, you will be managing all the staff and workers efficiently. Your role as a supervisor is to maintain all the records of the construction sites and keep an eye on the happenings. You should have excellent communication skills and management qualities to communicate with labor and workers at the construction site. You should be well aware of hazard management techniques and should be able to make quick decisions owing to the circumstances. You will be responsible to inspect the site and pinpoint any potential accident threats. You should be prompt at fixing the issue by communicating with the Construction Engineer or higher management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with the lower staff and explaining their role to them.

  • Evaluating employees on the basis of their performance.

  • Setting goals for the team and making sure that the targets are achieved within the estimated time limit.

  • Training the new staff and briefing them about the policies.

  • Ensuring that there is a healthy working environment and staff is well mannered.

  • Ensuring proper compliance and balance by following all the legal procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

  • 2 years of experience working in a Construction Company.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Quick decision making skills.

  • Good knowledge about interpreting construction blueprints and construction charts.

  • Familiar with hazard management techniques.
