Job Overview

We are looking for a Travel Agent, who is passionate about traveling. You will oversee the travel necessities made for business or vacation and give tourism-related administrations.

You will book reservations for flights, inns, rental cars, convention centers, and other different services. You will also help entrepreneurs and officials pick travel destinations for retreats and other occasions. Your main objective is to keep our customers satisfied.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance, and other services

  • Arrange and reserve a spot for planned travel, including airlines, transport, and hotels. 

  • Catch up with customers about business travel plans and make modifications as required.

  • Communicate with the clients amicably on occasions such as gatherings, conferences, and retreats.

  • Make hotel reservations, book transport, process and collect the payments.

  • Resolve planning clashes and other conflict matters as they come up.

  • Manage financial records and meet the targets of sales and profits.

  • Utilize a booking system to anchor occasions and holidays.

  • Offer advice to customers (current & prospective) about their travel requirements.

  • Stay up to date with the knowledge of the latest tourism trends.

Requirements 

  • BS/BA degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel or relevant field.

  • Proven 2+ years of experienced Travel Agent or Travel Consultant.

  • Familiar with travel destinations and passionate about traveling and tourism.

  • Exceptional working knowledge of domestic and international travel trends

  • Outstanding knowledge of computer reservations systems like Sabre GDS systems, e-traveling, etc.

  • Excellent understanding of planning management and HR functions.

  • Ability to maintain healthy relationships with travel agencies.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Customer-oriented approach with outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.

  • Ability to multitask

  • Attention to accuracy and detail.

  • Excellent numerical ability.

  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
