We want to hire a skilled and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our Logistics Department.

As a Warehouse Worker, you will have to actively participate in warehouse activities and operations. Your prime responsibilities include retrieving stock, material picking, packaging, and scanning receiving and processing incoming orders. 

Your objective here will be to boost profitability, enhance efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction. 

You will be performing a wide range of functions that mainly include

• processing materials and stock, 

• filling and picking orders from inventory, 

• shipping and receiving orders, and

• organizing the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, as well as, complete order delivery and pick up as per the schedule.

• Receive and process warehouse inventory on a regular basis

• Perform inventory controls and keep the quality standards high for audit purposes.

• Keep a safe and clean working environment and optimize space utilization.

• Prepare and maintain file records.

• Report discrepancies, if any.

• Corporate and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.

• Maintain and operate warehouse equipment and vehicles with attention and care.

• Follow quality standards and comply in accordance with the rules, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Worker, Warehouse Associate or a similar role in the Logistics Department.

• A valid forklift license will be required.

• Proficiency in databases, inventory and systems software.

• Understanding of contemporary warehousing methods and practices.

• Ability to lift heavy objects.

• Good understanding of storage management systems.

• Great interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.

• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
