Job Overview 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Admissions Director to join our school. You will be responsible for helping the students with the admission processes and requirements. You should be able to explain various admission policies and procedures to the students.  

Besides, you should also be able to assist in the preparation of admission guidelines and in the implementation of the same. You should also be able to develop various promotional events such as campus tours and interviews. Moreover, you should also be willing to visit and promote the school’s admission procedures at other events.  

As an Admissions Director, you should have complete knowledge of the educational policies and regulations. Furthermore, you should be familiar with various campus management software. Your excellent presentation skills and proven work experience in this field will be an asset to this job role.

Responsibilities 

  • Explaining admission process and guidelines to the students 

  • Assisting in planning and implementing admission guidelines 

  • Evaluating student applications before accepting or rejecting the same 

  • Providing assistance regarding applications for financial aid or any other admission procedures 

  • Planning and developing campus tours, interviews, and other promotional events 

  • Reviewing if the student information matches the supporting documents provided by them 

  • Coordinating with the various department heads to understand the admission status and statistics 

  • Visiting different school and college campuses to promote admission procedures 

  • Providing brochures and pamphlets explaining admission requirements to students 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field 

  • Proven work experience as an Admissions Director, Academic Advisor , or a similar position in the Education department 

  • Complete understanding of the admission procedures, education policies, rules, and regulations 

  • Familiarity with various campus management software such as PraxiSchool, Administrator's Plus, and Campus Café 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills 

  • Having an eye for detail 

  • Highly motivated individual 

  • Having strong work ethics 

  • Willingness to travel to different locations and work at flexible hours 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
