Job Overview

We want to hire a talented candidate for a Budget Analyst position for our company. Your role will be to assist us in our company’s budget planning and spending. You will be conducting budget proposal reviews and data analysis to determine an accurate allocation of company funds. The objective is to organize finances and make certain that you can accelerate our growth and profitability.

As a Budget Analyst, your primary task will be to review the financial requests. In addition to this, you will allocate the necessary funds and increase profits for our company on a long term basis. You should have excellent skills in preparing budget proposals and reports. You should have hands-on experience with budget forecasting and data analysis techniques.

  • Review budget proposals and send funding requests.

  • Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to determine the profitability of a project.

  • Submit budget recommendations for the approval or refusal of funding requests.

  • Explain and defend recommendations to stakeholders and management.

  • Collaborate with the managers to develop final budget reports.

  • Ensure that the company’s budget adheres to the legal regulations.

  • Oversee expenditures and identify the trends in terms of spending.

  • Forecast future budget requirements.

  • Redistribute the extra funds while ensuring profits.

  • Suggest improvements that helps boost profits which mainly include spending cuts.

  • Prepare budget reports periodically.

  • Be updated about the recent changes in the economic and financial developments of the country.


  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or relevant field. Masters degree in Business Administration will also be considered.

  • Proven work experience as a Budget Analyst, Financial Planner or similar role. Entry-level Budget Analysts may also apply. 

  • Outstanding knowledge of cost-benefit analysis.

  • Solid understanding of forecasting techniques and data analysis.

  • Knowledge of budgeting and regulatory needs.

  • Outstanding mathematical skills and an analytical mind.

  • Know-how about legal regulation that pertains to budgeting.

  • Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel and databases.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and multi-tasking.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent market researching skills.
