Job Overview 

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to be a part of our team. You should be able to install, repair, and replace pipes as and when needed. Besides, you should also be able to identify the leaks and clogged areas and perform any minor repairs.  

You should be able to review the work area and provide clients with work completion timelines. Also, you should assist in estimating the number and types of materials required for the assigned work. You should be able to clean the job site before and after work completion. Moreover, you should follow all health and safety protocols at all times. 

As an Apprentice Plumber, you should be familiar with the various plumbing systems. Furthermore, you should display excellent physical dexterity and have an eye for detail. You should be able to work at long hours and travel to different job locations. In addition, you should be able to offer excellent customer service.

Responsibilities 

• Inspecting and identifying leaks 

• Installing, repairing, and replacing pipes and other components 

• Reviewing the work area and providing the client with an appropriate work completion timeline and materials required 

• Adhering to the health and safety guidelines at all times 

• Cleaning the work area before and after work completion 

• Examining the blue prints and technical drawings before beginning work 

• Addressing any client queries 

• Correctly locating and fixing fixtures and passage holes 

• Measuring and cutting pipes using hand and power tools 

• Assembling and dissembling plumbing fixtures 

• Repairing clogged drains and drainage lines 

• Coordinating day-to-day activities with the Plumber and taking instructions from the same 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or GED 

• 0-1 years of experience as an Apprentice Plumber in the Construction industry 

• Complete knowledge of plumbing and ventilation systems 

• Familiarity with hand and power tools like cordless drill, thread tape, and plungers 

• Excellent physical dexterity 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Strong mathematical skills 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Excellent mechanical and technical skills 

• A team player and the ability to work independently 

• Ability to work at long, flexible hours and on weekends 

• Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
