You will be responsible for creating designs using CAD software. You will be also responsible for working with Construction Engineers, Architects, and other technical team members. As an ideal candidate, you should compulsorily hold a professional certification in Computer-Aided Design.
Moreover, you should have a sound knowledge of engineering principles. You should also possess good analytical skills and the ability to pay close attention to details. Also, you should have excellent communication skills.

Creating a high-quality design using technical drawings.
Taking verbal instructions from the Architects and Engineers.
Making use of CAD to chalk out 2D and 3D design plans.
Offering technical assistance to the Production team for construction materials.
Providing technical details to the team for building layouts.
Performing complex calculations on the building structure.
Providing cost estimates for the project.
Ensuring the drawings adhere to all the rules and regulations of the environmental standards.
Defining problems and finding flexible solutions for the same.
Conducting site visits along with the team members.
Producing manufacturing documentations.
Re-designing your design plans as per the client's request as and when needed.
Explaining the designs to the clients as well as the team members.
Complying with the rules and regulations of health and safety protocols.
Staying updated with the latest trends in the Construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a High school diploma in Design and technology.
0-2 years of work experience as a CAD Technician or a related job position in the Construction industry.
Professional certification in Computer-Aided Design is mandatory.
Extensive knowledge of various engineering principles and practices.
Good knowledge and understanding of materials used in construction.
Exceptional maths and arithmetic abilities.
Good reasoning thinking skills.
A keen eye for details.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
