Job Overview 

Our construction company is looking for an experienced and skilled Concrete Foreman to join us. You should be able to manage and oversee different stages of the construction project. Besides, you should be able to plan construction projects upon reviewing technical drawings and blueprints. 

You should be able to estimate the construction completion timeline and ensure its completion within the assigned budget. Moreover, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be beneficial in identifying and resolving construction defects.  

As a Concrete Foreman, you should be detail-oriented and display excellent physical strength. In addition to this, you should be able to prepare and maintain a report of the construction project status. Your ability to multitask and handle construction projects as per the industry standards will be considered.

Responsibilities 

• Managing different stages of the construction projects 

• Estimating the number of materials and laborers required for the project 

• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings 

• Assigning and overseeing the Construction Workers 

• Maintaining a record of the number of hours/days taken to complete each project 

• Adhering to the safety and health guidelines at all times 

• Bringing any construction problems to the notice of the Construction Project Manager 

• Ensuring that all activities related to concrete preparations, placement, and installation are conducted smoothly 

• Identifying and correcting any construction defects 

• Maintaining and updating daily work reports and work schedules 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or GED 

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Concrete Foreman, Construction Foreman, or a related field 

• Complete knowledge of construction procedures and guidelines 

• Familiarity with concrete installation and finishing tools like mixers, wheelbarrows, polishers, and trowels 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Good leadership qualities 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to multitask 

• Having an eye for detail 

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently 

• Good physical dexterity 

• Ability to work for long, flexible hours and in extreme weather conditions 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
