Job Overview 

Our Construction company is looking for an Electrician Apprentice to be a part of our team. You should be able to perform the installation of electrical systems and also conduct repair tasks. Besides, you should be able to examine and identify faults in the electrical systems. 

As an Electrician Apprentice, you should be able to prepare the job site before beginning work and clear the same of any debris and equipment upon completion. Moreover, you should be able to coordinate with the Construction Workers, Site Supervisor, and Electrician when performing your day-to-day activities. 

To perform in this job role, you should have excellent knowledge of the electrical systems. In addition to this, you should display good physical dexterity. Moreover, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills are beneficial. Also, you should be able to work in a team as well as independently. You should be willing to travel to different locations and offer excellent customer service.

Responsibilities  

• Reviewing and identifying faults and repairs required in various electrical systems 

• Examining and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings 

• Checking the inventory for electrical equipment/parts and placing orders for the same 

• Performing maintenance tasks as and when needed 

• Installing various electrical systems and components 

• Maintaining a record of all the daily activities 

• Coordinating with the Electrician and Construction Workers on site 

• Addressing and resolving customer queries 

• Ensuring that the work area is cleaned before and after work 

• Adhering to the health and safety protocols at all times 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Professional electrician training or a valid certification mandatory 

• Proven work experience as an Electrician Apprentice or similar role in the Construction industry 

• Knowledge of electrical systems and components 

• Familiarity with various hand and power tools like multimeter, circuit finder, and pliers 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Strong time management and organizational skills 

• Willingness to travel to different locations 

• Ability to work at long, flexible hours and on weekends 

• Having an eye for detail 

• Displaying good physical dexterity 

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
