Job Overview 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Field Service Technician to join us on a regular basis. You will be responsible for conducting regular field visits and offering assistance with any servicing and maintenance tasks. You should be able to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Besides, you should also be able to provide explanations to clients on equipment use and maintenance procedures. 

You should have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work at flexible schedules. Also, you should be able to document and prepare reports of the service work conducted. Moreover, you should be physically-fit and able to lift heavy objects.  

As a Field Service Technician, you should ensure meeting company standards and safety procedures at all times. In addition to this, you should be able to build and sustain long-lasting business relations with clients. A proven work experience in the construction field and professional training will prove to be advantageous.

Responsibilities 

  • Scheduling and conducting timely field visits 

  • Identifying and resolving any technical problems 

  • Overseeing site repair and installation work 

  • Preparing and presenting detailed and accurate service reports 

  • Adhering to the company policies and protocols at all times 

  • Providing support to the team members as and when required 

  • Keeping a track of the work progress and maintaining a documentation of the same 

  • Reviewing technical operations and suggesting improvement measures 

  • Operating vehicle and keeping it in safe condition 

  • Maintaining and updating field automation systems 

  • Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients 

  • Providing explanations on equipment use as and when needed 

  • Addressing any customer queries 

Requirements 

  • High school diploma or GED 

  • Proven work experience as a Field Service Technician or a similar role in the Construction industry 

  • A certification or professional technical training is mandatory 

  • Excellent technical and mechanical skills 

  • Having an excellent eye for detail 

  • Ability to work at flexible hours 

  • Willingness to travel to different locations 

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Displaying physical and mental fitness 

  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
