Our company is looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join us an Industrial Electrician. You should be able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and follow instructions before beginning work. Besides, you should be able to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. 

As an Industrial Electrician, you should have complete knowledge of the safety and health protocols. Moreover, you should be able to perform inspections of the electrical systems and maintain a record of the same. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be beneficial in identifying and resolving any faults in the electrical systems. 

To perform in this job role, you should display good physical dexterity and should be able to work for long hours. Also, you should be familiar with the electrical systems and components. Having proven work experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities 

• Examining and maintaining the electrical components of the industrial equipment 

• Installing and repairing electrical components 

• Ensuring that the safety protocols are followed at all times 

• Conducting inspections and quality control checks on a regular basis 

• Checking if the electrical codes are correct 

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints before beginning work 

• Servicing and repairing wiring and fixtures 

• Examining and servicing high voltage systems like motors and generators 

• Cleaning, repairing, and replacing wires and circuits boards 

• Troubleshooting any problems with the electrical equipment 

• Maintaining a record of the maintenance and repair work conducted 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Technology or a related field 

• Proven work experience as an Industrial Electrician or a similar role in the Construction industry 

• Complete knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and components 

• Knowledge of the health and safety protocols 

• Familiarity with hand tools and testing equipment like wire cutters, soldering tools, calibrators, and counters 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• Good physical dexterity 

• Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual 

• Good multitasking abilities  

• Ability to work for long and flexible hours
