Job Overview 

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Stud Framer to be a part of our Construction team. You should be able to measure, cut, and install metal stud as per the specifications provided. Besides, you should be able to communicate with clients to understand their requirements and update them on the progress. 

You should be able to measure and mark the frames correctly to avoid any miscalculation. Also, you should adhere to the health and safety guidelines while performing daily tasks. Moreover, you should display excellent physical fitness and the ability to work for long, flexible hours. 

As a part of this job role, you should be able to secure metal frames with suitable metal studs and cover the same with drywall boards. Moreover, you should also display excellent multitasking abilities. Having a proven work experience in a similar job role will be advantageous.

Responsibilities 

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications 

• Determining installation requirements by communicating with clients  

• Using hand and power tools like straightedges and ladders when performing daily activities 

• Measuring and marking the metal frames using chalk lines to avoid any miscalculation 

• Cutting studs and metal runners to the specified measurements 

• Installing metal studs to frames 

• Keeping openings on boards for vents and fixtures  

• Ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards at all times 

• Fitting and fastening drywall boards on the frames 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Proven work experience in the Construction industry as a Metal Stud Framer, Metal Fabricator , or a similar role 

• Familiarity with various hand and power tools like pneumatic nailing guns, straightedges, and measuring tapes 

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations 

• Having an excellent eye for detail 

• Displaying good physical and mental strength 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently 

• Willingness to work for long, flexible hours and on weekends 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
