Our Construction department is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to join us as a Millwright.  

As a Millwright, you will be responsible for reading systematic diagrams to understand the equipment. You will also be responsible for assembling and repairing the construction machinery and equipment.   

Besides this, you should hold a professional certificate as a Millwright. You should possess excellent knowledge and understanding of various construction equipment. In addition to this, you should be able to use power and hand tools.   

To be successful in this job role, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work under no supervision. You should also have extraordinary troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities  

• Visiting construction sites as and when required.  

• Identifying the problems and providing accurate solutions.  

• Referring to the machinery manual and other data provided by the company.  

• Repairing faulty equipment and machinery.  

• Disassembling and reassembling the equipment for transportation.  

• Constructing the foundation for equipment installation.  

• Calibrating the newly installed equipment using specialized tools.  

• Storing and collecting distinct equipment parts.  

• Ensuring workspace safety for the construction workers.  

• Transporting machinery to various construction sites.  

• Overseeing the construction workers while they use the equipment.  

• Performing timely maintenance of the equipment to avoid contamination.  

• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.  

• Adhering to safety and environmental policies and protocols.  

  Requirements  

• High school diploma or GED.  

• Proven work experience as a Millwright or a similar position in the Construction industry.  

• A professional certification as a Millwright based on national standards will be mandatory.  

• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of construction machinery and equipment.  

• Ability to travel to various construction sites.  

• Good communications skills.  

• Excellent multi-tasking abilities.  

• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
