We are looking for a knowledgeable Pool Service Technician to be a part of our team. You should be able to visit different client locations and offer pool cleaning and maintenance services. Besides, you should ensure that the company vehicle is fully stocked with chemicals and cleaning equipment.  

As a Pool Service Technician, you should adhere to the health and safety standards at all times. You should clean and replace any broken parts, pipes, and cover leaks. Moreover, you should also advice clients on the aftercare and schedule timely maintenance checks. In addition to this, you should address any client queries in a timely and professional manner. 

To perform in this job role, you should be willing to work at flexible hours and display good physical dexterity. Having knowledge of various chemicals and servicing methods will work to your advantage.

Responsibilities 

• Travelling to different locations to carry out various pool cleaning tasks 

• Ensure that the company vehicle is stocked and has the required equipment 

• Performing different tests to determine the water pH and chlorine levels 

• Advising clients on the use of acids and chemicals to maintain/correct pH levels 

• Cleaning the swimming pool using correct equipment  

• Adhering to the health and safety protocols at all times 

• Examining and replacing underwater fittings 

• Checking the swimming pool for any leaks and fixing the same 

• Maintaining an accurate record of all the daily activities 

• Replacing any damaged or broken pool pipes 

• Scheduling and conducting swimming pool maintenance checks 

• Responding to any customer queries in a timely manner 

• Cleaning the swimming pool and nearby areas of any trash 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Proven experience as a Pool Service Technician or a similar role in the Construction industry 

• Holding a valid driver's license 

• Complete knowledge of pool cleaning and servicing methods and techniques 

• Familiarity with the health and safety procedures 

• Understanding of the chemicals and equipment used to clean swimming pool 

• Good physical dexterity 

• Ability to work at flexible hours and on weekends 

• Willingness to travel to different locations 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
