Job Overview 

We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking Rigger to be a part of our team. You should be able to prepare rigging equipment and ensure its stable working condition. Besides, you should also assist in preparing the loads to be moved.  You should be able to use the right rigging gear and ensure compliance with the safety standards.  

As a Rigger, you should have excellent spatial awareness and proven commercial driving experience. Moreover, you should be able to inspect the rigging equipment and clean the same at regular intervals. You should be able to lift heavy loads and work in extreme weather conditions.  

Furthermore, you should have a keen eye for detail and good mathematical skills. You should also be able to work in a team as well as manage tasks individually. Having relevant industry experience will work to your advantage.

Responsibilities 

• Aligning and leveling heavy equipment machinery 

• Preparing loads to be moved 

• Inspecting and maintaining the rigging equipment in proper working order 

• Using appropriate rigging gear when handling heavy equipment machinery 

• Adhering to the health, safety and company standards at all times 

• Cleaning, dismantling, and storing the rigging equipment after every use 

• Supporting structures and hoists using various hand and power tools 

• Checking the safety and reliability to the rigging equipment on a timely basis 

• Coordinating with the other team members when loading and moving goods 

• Preparing and setting up the rigging equipment using bolts, clamps and pulleys 

• Ensuring the safety of the team members while performing daily activities 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or GED 

• NCCCO certification is mandatory 

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Rigger in the Construction industry 

• Complete knowledge of rigging equipment  

• Understanding of the company and OSHA safety standards 

• Familiarity with power and hand tools such as pulleys, blocks and shackles 

• Excellent eye for detail 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Excellent physical dexterity 

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills 

• Ability to work for long hours, flexible schedules and in extreme weather conditions 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently 

• Highly motivated individual
