We are looking for a Window Tinter with excellent knowledge of tinting techniques and expertise to join us. You should be able to interact with clients and recommend different tinting procedures suiting their preferences and budget. 

You will be responsible for cleaning the window space of any dirt. Besides, you should prepare the window for tint by applying smoothing agents and primer. You should have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to complete tasks on time. 

Possessing knowledge of different automobiles and car types will prove beneficial for this job role. In addition to this, you should be willing to stay abreast with the latest trends in the automobile industry. You should be familiar with various hand tools and display excellent physical dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning the windows of any dirt and debris

• Applying smoothening agents to prepare the windows for work

• Understanding the vehicle window specifications and customer requirements before beginning the tinting procedure

• Stripping old window tint and applying primer before fitting the new one

• Using different tint cutting techniques

• Installing window tints using appropriate tools like a heat gun, soft squeegee, and spray bottle

• Reviewing and providing the customer with an approximate quote and completion timeline

• Maintaining a clean work station during and after the window tinting procedure

• Explaining and recommending various window tints to the customers

• Advising customers on the after-care procedures 

• Taking accurate measurements of the window and glass size 

• Collaborating with dealership automobiles in sourcing quality products

• Processing and collecting invoice payments

• Staying up to date with the latest additions to window tints

• Hiring and training assistants

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous work experience as a Window Tinter or a similar position in the Construction industry

• Basic knowledge of different window tints and installation techniques

• Understanding of various automobiles

• Familiarity with installation equipment and hand tools like cutters, screwdrivers, and files

• Good physical dexterity

• Ability to work for long and flexible hours

• Having an eye for detail

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Multitasking and time management skills

• Ability to offer excellent customer satisfaction
