Job Overview 

Our institution is in search of an Assessor to join us. You should be able to assist the students in gathering the necessary documents needed for the admission procedures. Besides, you should be able to review the documents and other assessment data. 

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all documents are submitted on time. Moreover, you will be responsible for calculating the students final scores and checking if they match the requirements. You should also be able to enter the student details in the database. 

As an Assessor, you should  display discretion and good judgement. You should also be detail-oriented and display an empathetic behavior. Furthermore, having proven work experience in the educational field and valid certification to practice will be advantageous.

Responsibilities 

  • Gathering and reviewing assessment data 

  • Ensuring all documents are submitted on time 

  • Calculating the students final scores and checking it against the requirements 

  • Rechecking the scores and submissions to avoid any discrepancies 

  • Entering students’ final grades and marks in the database 

  • Bringing errors or omissions to the notice of the senior management 

  • Using discretion and avoiding any biasness when evaluating student responses 

  • Evaluating students’ performance in various courses 

  • Staying up-to-date with the courses offered and developments in the education sector 

  • Providing guidance and advice to students whenever required 

  • Explaining the course offerings and other details to the students 

  • Attending and networking at job fairs and recruiting events 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 

  • Proven work experience in the Education department as an Assessor, Admissions Counselor , or a similar position 

  • Holding a valid certification in Assessor’s training program from a reputed Insititute 

  • Complete knowledge of the educational policies, rules, and regulations 

  • Familiarity with the courses offered and their requirements 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work at flexible hours 

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual 

  • Ability to display empathetic behavior 

  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
