Our company is looking for a hardworking and experienced candidate to join as a Driving Instructor.

Your main goal will be teaching the students all the required skills required for driving. As a Driving Instructor, you will be planning and preparing diving lessons on driving laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for explaining all the required techniques and offering advice to the students.

To be successful in this job role, you will be assisting the students to reach their full potential efficiently. You should be overseeing and monitoring the progress of the student. You should also be supervising their practical driving tests. 

Besides this, you should have an excellent close eye for details for accuracy. You should also possess excellent instructional skills and the ability to communicate in an understandable manner.

Responsibilities

• Planning out all the driving lessons according to the student’s requirements.

• Delivering lessons on driving to the students.

• Performing practical lessons.

• Suggesting improvements in driving skills.

• Explaining the driving procedures and techniques.

• Taking dummy driving tests.

• Monitoring the progress of the students.

• Overseeing the practical examination.

• Developing confidence of the students while driving.

• Keeping calm in emergencies.

• Controlling vehicles during dangerous circumstances.

•  Preparing daily reports of the lessons delivered.

• Maintaining the accident report, if any.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Work experience as a Driving Instructor or a similar position in the Education field.

• A valid driver’s license.

• A clean driving and criminal record are mandatory.

• Professional certification as a Driving Instructor.

• Demonstrate the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to pay close attention to detail.

• Demonstrate excellent driving skills.

• Ability to give clear and concise instructions.

• Experience in maintaining vehicles on a regular basis.

• Extraordinary ability to motivate the students.

• Ability to work for a long period of time and weekends as well.

• Managing time effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Good problem-solving abilities.
