Job Overview  

We are in search of a detailed-oriented and experienced Historian to join our team as soon as possible. As a Historian, you will be responsible for preserving artifacts and historical documents perfectly, in good condition. You will also be responsible for analyzing and interpreting historical data.  

To perform this role successfully, you should be participating in conferences as well as writing reports on historical theories. You should also be to have sound knowledge on famous historical personalities. In addition to this, you should hold a Master’s degree or Ph. D in History or a similar field.  

Ideally, you should be able to communicate with the team members effectively and be willing to travel as and when needed. You should also possess good writing skills and the ability to think creatively.

  • Collecting historical data from various sources such as books, archives, photographers, etc.  

  • Interpreting and analyzing historical information.  

  • Determining the authenticity and significance of historical data.  

  • Preserving artifacts and materials found on the historical sites.  

  • Offering advice to the students on historical topics.  

  • Tracing historical evidence on various places as and when required.  

  • Giving a historical presentation to the general public.  

  • Providing guidance to the research agencies and schools.  

  • Preparing publications and exhibits on the accuracy of historical data.  

  • Writing reports, articles, and books on findings and historical theories.  

  • Translating historical documents into understanding language.  

  • Researching extensively on historical figures, if needed.  

  • Contributing to annual academic journals and presenting them as well.  


  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in History or related field.  

  • 4+ years of working experience as a Historian or a similar role in any Educational institute.  

  • Working experience in a research center will be also an added advantage.  

  • Extraordinary knowledge and experience in handling and preserving artifacts.  

  • Excellent analytical skills.  

  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with the team members.  

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.  

  • Ability to pay attention to details.  

  • Ability to work under zero or minimal supervision.  

  • Ability to examine historical data accurately.  

  • Ability to solve complex problems.  

  • Ability to think creatively and out of the box.
