Job Overview 

We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Intervention Specialist. You should be able to assess and understand the children's requirements and needs. Besides, you should also be able to plan and develop effective individualized learning programs. Moreover, you should be able to assist Teachers with lesson plans by implementing various classroom management and learning techniques. 

As an Intervention Specialist, you should be able to communicate with parents and advise them on skill building and child development procedures. Furthermore, you should also be able to review children’s progress and maintain an accurate record of the same. As part of your job role, you should be able to adhere to the IEP guidelines at all times. 

To be able to perform in this job role, you should have strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach. In addition to this, you should also be able to upgrade your skills by attending workshops and training sessions. A successful candidate should be able to handle stressful situations and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities 

• Assessing the needs and requirements of children 

• Researching, planning and developing individualized programs 

• Ensuring that the children have a safe and positive learning experience at all times 

• Implementing various classroom management and learning techniques 

• Assisting Teachers with maintaining a record of the lesson plans 

• Observing and recording details of children’s performances 

• Communicating with parents and advising them on various services of the child’s development 

• Ensuring compliance with the guidelines set by Individualized Education Programs (IEP) at all times 

• Reviewing children’s progress reports and providing them instructions on improving their skills 

• Attending training sessions and workshops to upgrade skills 

Requirements 

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education 

• Proven work experience as an Intervention Specialist or a similar role in the Education department 

• Complete knowledge of the educational policies and guidelines 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual 

• Ability to offer improved customer service
