Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kindergarten Teacher for our school. You will be responsible for children's first educational experience, so this role stretches a little more than just being a teacher. You will help young minds develop socially and intellectually. 

As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will be creating, planning and implementing the lesson plans and conducting learning activities to facilitate children. You will prepare the materials and resources required for teaching young students according to the syllabus. You should have the ability to improve children’s intellectual, physical and emotional skills. You will be responsible for the overall growth and development of a child.

Responsibilities

• Develop a full teaching plan and the resources required for the same.

• Create the required learning material for students.

• Make the children learn alphabets and numbers through different activities.

• Create lessons according to the different abilities of children in the class with a focus on student development.

• Use media, games, outdoor activities and various learning songs to improve children’s abilities. Social development of a child is a must.

• Teach the children the importance of good manners, discipline and cleanliness.

• Coordinate with the parents and provide appropriate feedback regarding students’ progress.

• Conduct some tests to evaluate the child’s progress. Record the results in the grade book.

• Monitor children’s performance and make sure they are improving their skills and abilities.

• Ensure that the teaching methodologies are in compliance with educational standards and safety regulations.

• Create a friendly and pleasant environment in the classroom.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.

• 2 years of experience in teaching Kindergarten classes in a reputed private school. Candidates who have experience working as a Preschool Teacher will also be considered.

• Additional teaching-related certifications will be an added benefit.
