Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Specialist to join our school. You should be able to plan different learning activities upon reviewing the students’ behavior and performance. 

You should have good listening skills and the ability to help students with their learning difficulties. Also, you should assist teachers with developing lesson plans and gathering reference materials.

In addition to this, you should be able to develop a positive learning environment. Besides, you should be observant and identify any irrational classroom behavior. You should actively participate in parents-teachers meetings, and discuss students’ progress with them. 

You should be able to maintain a calm composure at all times. Apart from that, you should be highly motivated and able to handle stressful situations. Holding previous work experience in the Education department will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planning and developing effective learning strategies

• Reviewing and suggesting improvements

• Examining students to identify their learning needs and differences

• Communicating the students progress with the teachers and parents

• Providing moral support and building long-lasting relationships with students

• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the teaching methodologies

• Addressing poor learning habits such as irrational behavior, disorganization, and lack of motivation

• Helping students identify their learning preferences based on their strengths and weaknesses

• Assisting teachers in preparing teaching materials and plans

• Developing training courses and various learning activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or similar field

• 2-3 years of work experience as a Learning Specialist, Training Specialist, or a similar position in the Education sector

• Holding a valid teaching license

• Knowledge of developments and regulations in the field of education

• Extremely comfortable with children, particularly small age groups

• Having a calm composure

• Excellent teaching and creative skills

• Basic computer skills

• Strong reading and writing language skills

• Highly passionate and self-motivated individual

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Ability to manage and organize time effectively

• Good problem-solving skills

• Ability to offer moral support
