Job Overview 

Our educational institute is in search of a Montessori Teacher to join us on a regular basis. You should be able to research and develop lesson plans. Besides, you should also be able to gather resource materials. You will also be responsible for reviewing children's progress and introducing appropriate learning exercises. 

As a Montessori Teacher, you should be able to promote a safe and positive learning environment for the children. Moreover, you should also be able to collaborate with other Teachers in organizing various activities for the children. You will also be responsible for accompanying the students to various field trips and extra curriculum activities.  

To be able to perform in this job role, you should have complete montessori training and an approachable personality. In addition to this, you should be able to multitask and stand for long hours. Your ability to work independently as well as collaboratively will also be considered.

Responsibilities 

• Observing and guiding children with their learning needs 

• Gathering resource materials and developing lesson plans 

• Introducing various learning exercises to help children learn better 

• Creating a safe and positive learning environment for the children 

• Tracking students’ progress and maintaining a report on the same 

• Accompanying students on field trips and other school activities 

• Attending seminars and workshops as and when required 

• Coordinating and collaborating with other Teachers to develop lesson plans 

• Communicating students’ progress with their parents 

• Adhering to the educational policies and guidelines at all times 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education or equivalent degree 

• Holding Montessori training and certification from a reputed institute 

• Proven work experience as a Montessori Teacher, Teacher , or a similar role in the Education department 

• Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Displaying a warm and welcoming personality 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• Having an eye for detail and good multitasking abilities 

• Ability to stand for long hours
