Job Overview 

Our school is in search of a highly reliable and motivated Principal to join us. You should be able to manage the day-to-day functioning of all school activities and ensure a healthy learning environment. Besides, you should also be able to monitor the assigned school budget.  

As a part of your job role, you should be able to measure the performance levels of the teachers. Moreover, you should also be able hold regular staff meetings and update the school curriculum as and when required. Additionally, you should also be able to review the existing and implement new school policies. 

To be able to perform in this job role, you should display excellent managerial skills. Also, you should be highly reliable and have good multitasking skills. You should be able to oversee the planning and implementation of various school events and functions. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively will be beneficial.

Responsibilities 

  • Managing day to day school activities 

  • Assigning and monitoring school budget 

  • Keeping a track on teachers’ performances 

  • Holding meetings with the board and parents-teachers association members on a timely basis 

  • Developing and setting goals for both teachers and students during the academic year 

  • Interviewing and hiring teachers and other staff members 

  • Reviewing, updating, and implementing school policies 

  • Providing necessary guidance and handling any urgent situations 

  • Overseeing the organization of school events 

  • Ensuring that the students are offered a healthy learning environment 

  • Updating the school curriculum after receiving a notification from the board 

Requirements 

  • Master's degree or PhD in any discipline 

  • 10-15 years of experience as a Professor and at least 5 years of experience as a Vice Principal in the field of Education 

  • Complete knowledge of the rules and regulations governing the education sector 

  • Excellent teaching and leadership skills 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Having an eye for detail 

  • Strong work ethics and multitasking abilities 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

  • Highly motivated and reliable individual 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
