We are looking for an analytical and knowledgeable Chief Investment Officer to join our company. You will be primarily responsible for handling the company's investment portfolio. You should be aware of the various investment products and techniques. Besides, you should be able to plan and implement effective investment strategies. Moreover, you should also be able to monitor the company's investments. 

As a Chief Investment Officer, you should be able to lead the investment team. You should also be able to review the company's financial statements. Moreover, you should be able to prepare investment reports and  update the same regularly. In addition to this, you should be able to research and analyze the financial market behavior. 

To perform in this job role, you should have proven industry experience and familiarity with various financial analysis tools and software. Your critical thinking abilities will help in managing the company’s investment portfolio and in making smart financial moves.

Responsibilities 

  • Developing and implementing effective investment processes and strategies 

  • Conducting thorough research on investment market behavior 

  • Providing clients with investment recommendations 

  • Preparing and maintaining investment reports  

  • Performing regular investment reviews 

  • Analyzing company’s past investment decisions and suggesting improvements 

  • Reviewing the company’s financial statements 

  • Ensuring that the investment processes comply with the industry standards 

  • Keeping up-to-date with any changes or developments in the investment sector 

  • Analyzing company’s budget and allocating assets 

  • Monitoring company’s investments 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Investment Officer or a similar position in the Finance department 

  • Complete understanding of investment techniques, products, and procedures 

  • Familiarity with financial analysis software like Oracle Essbase, Limelight, and Jirav 

  • Up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial sector 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good time management and organizational skills 

  • Strong researching and critical thinking abilities 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong ethical behavior 

  • Excellent mathematical skills 

  • Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations 

  • Highly motivated and results-driven individual 

  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
