As an Equity Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and knowledge of stocks and bonds to investment advisors, brokers, and individual investors. You will be also responsible for helping in the valuation of stocks.  

As an ideal candidate for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field. In addition to this, prior work experience as an Equity Analyst or a similar role will be an added advantage for the candidate.  

You should possess excellent knowledge of financial modeling software. Also, you should also have good communication skills as well as phenomenal analytical skills.

Responsibilities  

• Offering financial guidance on stocks and bonds.  

• Gathering and accessing data related to securities.  

• Preparing financial projections and forecasts for investors and brokers.  

• Determining the stock performance by analyzing the financial reports.  

• Utilizing data modeling techniques and methodologies.  

• Preparing report on sales, trading, and investments.  

• Writing publications to be presented to the shareholders and investors.  

• Providing expert advice on buy, sell, or hold various securities.  

• Monitoring market changes and trends.  

• Working in collaboration with the team members.  

• Maintaining a healthy relationship with the investors and brokers.  

• Staying updated with the latest trends in various industries.  

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.  

• 2 years of experience working as an Equity Analyst or a similar role in the Finance department.  

• Professional certification in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be a plus.  

• Sound knowledge and experience in accessing financial data.  

• Extensive experience working with financial services platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.  

• Excellent data modeling techniques.  

• Good analytical and research skills.  

• Detailed knowledge about stocks and bonds.  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.  

• Strong experience in financial modeling software such as Maplesoft, Quantrix, etc.  

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
