Job Overview

We are hiring a Finance Clerk to join the Account team of our well-reputed company. 

As a Finance Clerk, you will be responsible to manage accounts payable and receivable regularly and ensure the smooth running of financial operations. You are supposed to manage and maintain the financial record of daily payments accurately. You will be responsible for carrying out financial transactions of our company.

You will also resolve client issues regarding their accounts and payments. This financial clerk job role also requires you to take care of customer services along with the administration.

  • Process and manage routine banking, transactions, and petty cash

  • Maintain payroll records and data of the team members

  • Help clients with opening and closing of accounts 

  • Aid clients in carrying out other transactions such as loan repayment, cheque encashment, etc.

  • Generate financial accounting vouchers as and when required

  • Evaluate employees’ working hours and attendance records

  • Review loan applications and pass on the details to Loan Processor or Loan Officer

  • Apprise customers about their accounts as well as company policies and procedures

  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns in the light of ongoing policies

  • Provide adequate job training to juniors


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Commerce. High school diploma candidates with relevant experience can also be considered

  • 2+ years of experience of clerical duties

  • Exceptional knowledge of accounting softwares like Tally, QuickBooks, etc.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles

  • Outstanding mathematical and analytical skills

  • Hands on experience of MS Office Suite

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Amazing written and verbal communication skills

  • Good understanding of organizational policies

  • Detail oriented individual having the ability to multitask
