Job Overview 

Our Finance firm is looking for a Transfer Agent to be a part of our team. You will be primarily responsible for managing the purchase and transfer stocks, bonds, and securities. Besides, you should be able to conduct in-depth market research and identify new investment opportunities. 

As a Transfer Agent, you should also be able to issue clients with security ownership certificates. Moreover, you should be able to assist the clients to apply for re-issuance of ownership certificates, in case of loss or theft of the same. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for advising clients on mergers and acquisitions. 

To perform in this job role, you should have excellent mathematical skills and forecasting abilities. Also, you should be completely familiar with investment and various trading markets. You should have strong work ethics and the ability to handle stressful situations. A proven work experience in the financial sector is preferred.

Responsibilities 

• Giving clients advice on the purchase of securities 

• Acquiring and selling stocks, bonds, and commodities 

• Researching and evaluating financial markets 

• Analyzing the market performance of securities and stocks 

• Creating, maintaining, and updating detailed and accurate records on stock purchases and transfers 

• Monitoring clients’ financial standing and recommending suitable investment opportunities 

• Advising and assisting clients in mergers and acquisitions 

• Issuing and cancelling certificates of security ownership 

• Ensuring that the clients receive their due payments and interests in time 

• Preparing and mailing monthly investment statements to shareholders 

• Reissuing lost or stolen security ownership certificates 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Investment Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 

• Proven work experience in the Finance department as a Transfer Agent, Investment Banker, Financial Analyst , or a similar role 

• Complete knowledge of the working of investment market and other similar trading markets 

• Excellent researching and mathematical skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Good communication and persuasion skills 

• Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations 

• Highly motivated and reliable individual 

• Good time management and organizational skills 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
