Job Overview  

We are looking for a Cocktail Waitress to join our team. You will be responsible for greeting customers and taking orders from them. You will also be responsible for checking the identification documents of the customers for the confirmation of the legal age of drinking.  

As a Cocktail Waitress, you should haveexcellent communication skills and the ability to stand for a long period of time. You should also possess sound knowledge of common alcoholic drinks and beverages.  

To perform this job role, you should have a friendly and attractive personality. In addition to this, you should be able to work under minimal supervision.  You should also be maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.

Responsibilities  

• Welcoming the customers and interacting with them in a friendly manner.  

• Taking orders and recommending beverages based on their taste and preferences.  

• Cleaning the bar counter and the table as and when required.  

• Checking the identity proof to make sure customer can legally order alcoholic beverages.  

• Helping in opening and closing duties of the bar.  

• Following precise food and alcoholic beverages guidelines.  

• Monitoring sufficient supply stock and restock supplies of the bar when needed.  

• Ensuring compliance with all beverages and refreshments regulations.  

• Collecting payments from the customers.  

• Working in collaboration with the team members.  

• Removing glasses and cleaning the area when customers leave a table.  

 Requirements  

• High school diploma or GED.  

• Proven work experience as a Cocktail Waitress, Bartender, or a similar role in the Hospitality industry.  

• A relevant TIPS training certificate will be mandatory.  

• Proficient with techniques of serving drinks and beverages.   

• Ability to work in the bar area for long period of time.  

• Ability to communicate with the clients efficiently.   

• Great interpersonal and organizational skills.   

• Ability to clean the entire bar area as well as the dining room.  

• Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.  

• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.  

• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
