We are looking for a passionate and detailed oriented Food Handler to join our team on an immediate basis.
You will be responsible for working with unpackaged food items before they are made ready for customers. You will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the utensils and equipment on a daily basis. Furthermore, you should have a sound knowledge of proper food hygiene.
To perform this job role, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work for a long period of time. You should also follow FDA guidelines and protocols for food storage and disposals.
Ideally, working experience as a Food Handler or a similar role will be an added benefit for this job position. in addition to this, you should have organizational and time management skills.

Preparing food items according to the procedures.
Assembling the items in the assembly tray for distribution.
Maintaining a clean and healthy working environment.
Cleaning the utensils and equipment after use.
Packing the food items for delivery.
Reporting any accidents about food contamination to the Manager.
Making sure the food items are stored properly.
Ensuring the cold food storage is organized in a professional manner
Following the standard labeling practice to discard expired food items.
Notifying the Supervisor in case of low stock levels.
Maintaining delivering records across different places.
Adhering to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines for storing and disposing of food items.
High school diploma or GED.
Working experience as a Food Handler, or a similar role in the Hospitality industry.
A professional certificate related to food safety and handling.
Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work under no or minimal supervision.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as a part of a team environment.
Excellent ability to create a safe and positive working space.
Ability to follow all the necessary food handling procedures.
Ability to offer excellent customer service.
Willingness to work on holidays as well as weekends.
