Job Overview  

We are looking for an experienced and talented individual as a Night Auditor to join our team. You should be responsible for accounting for the day’s cash flow and preparing a daily revenue report. You should also be responsible for handling overnight emergencies as and when needed.  

As an ideal candidate, you should be able to find discrepancies within the accounting ledger. You should be also preparing reports at the end of the shifts. Past work experience as a Night Auditor or a similar role will be an added benefit for the candidate.  

You should possess extraordinary communication skills and the ability to work flexibly. You should be also having sound knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures and principles. Furthermore, you should have a sharp eye for details.

Responsibilities  

  • Providing all the information to guests.  

  • Balancing the accounts from the day shifts.  

  • Maintaining the hotel's financial records.  

  • Processing the invoices as well as account payable and account receivables.  

  • Assisting the guests with check-in and check-out procedures.  

  • Answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner.  

  • Making reservations and processing refunds.  

  • Reconciling night accounts and ledger.  

  • Collecting payments by accepting either cash or card.  

  • Coming up with special packages and offers.  

  • Working collaboratively with the team members.  

  • Preparing daily, monthly, and yearly account reports.  

  • Summarizing all the night transactions.  

  • Ensuring compliance with all the rules and regulations.  

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree.  

  • Proven work experience as a Night Auditor, Auditor, or a similar role in the Hospitality / Customer Service industry.  

  • Excellent accounting and bookkeeping skills.  

  • Sound knowledge of accounting procedures.  

  • Ability to multi-task efficiently.  

  • Ability to maintain a positive environment.  

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Ability to offer excellent customer service.  

  • Exceptional time management skills.  

  • A keen eye for details for accuracy.  

  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule.  

  • Good problem-solving abilities.  

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to work in a team environment.  

  • Outstanding analytical and mathematics skills.
