Job Overview 

Our Human Resources department is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Employee Relations Specialist. 

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for building a strong connection with the employees. You will also be responsible for completing employee profiles for future reference. 

In addition to this, you should possess excellent communication skills with the ability to manage time effectively. You should also have extraordinary negotiating skills and good counseling skills.  

It is necessary that the candidates should compulsorily hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources. You should be willing to perform additional HR-related duties as and when needed.

 Responsibilities 

  • Communicating with employees and knowing their concerns. 

  • Counseling the employees and resolving their issues. 

  • Knowing the company’s benefits and compensation programs. 

  • Identifying the source of the issues and misunderstandings. 

  • Completing employing details and maintaining the database. 

  • Tracking employee's performances at regular intervals. 

  • Keeping a note of promotions and benefits given to the employees. 

  • Updating and maintaining employee's files. 

  • Supervising employee’s training sessions. 

  • Assisting in hiring new employees. 

  • Designing orientation program for the employees. 

  • Assisting in firing decisions and conducting exit interviews. 

  • Performing background checks. 

  • Assisting employee's physical examinations. 

  • Communicating between management and employees. 

  • Updating the company’s policies. 

  • Discussing concerns with the senior management personnel. 

  • Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company. 

  • Attending conferences and events as an employee-management liaison. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field. 

  • Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist, or a similar job position. 

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of employee policies and laws. 

  • Ability to multitask and handle the tasks according to priorities. 

  • Outstanding communication skills. 

  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. 

  • Good counseling abilities. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools. 

  • Outstanding negotiation skills. 

  • Excellent active listening skills. 

  • A sharp eye for details for accuracy. 

  • Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Ability to lead and motivate the team. 

  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills. 

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
