Job Overview

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to help with the company’s recruitment and vendor sourcing processes. You are primarily responsible for helping the company with cost cutting and productivity solutions. Besides, you should contact suppliers, negotiate quotes and maintain a database of all potential suppliers. 

Additionally, you will be coordinating with the Human Resources department in identifying qualified candidates for all the open positions. You will be conducting pre-screening activities to filter candidates apart from contacting passive candidates. Moreover, you will have to maintain a complete database of candidates or update their details in the ATS.

  • Suggesting cost saving measures

  • Researching and contacting suppliers offering a competitive price range

  • Negotiating contract terms and quotes with suppliers

  • Maintaining a vendor database and updating it regularly

  • Planning and implementing strategic sourcing solutions

  • Maintaining healthy business relationships with vendors and potential clients

  • Conducting a detailed vendor cost analysis

  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers and doing a comparative analysis

  • Improving company spending and outsourcing

  • Coordinating delivery schedules with vendors

  • Contacting potential clients via social media networks like Facebook and Twitter

  • Reviewing online portfolios to select befitting candidates

  • Preparing recruiting and follow-up emails

  • Developing employee referral systems to boost engagement 

  • Developing a network of contacts that include potential clients and industry professionals

  • Updating recruiting metrics and ATS

  • Contacting passive/past candidates for new job openings

  • Suggesting inventory optimization strategies


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Administration or related field

  • Familiarity with ATS and other management software

  • Basic understanding of social media networks primarily LinkedIn and Facebook and recruiting platforms like Jobsoid

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to negotiate

  • Familiarity with sourcing procedures and legalities

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Detail-oriented and a critical thinker

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools

  • Knowledge of supply chain management

  • Ability to multitask

  • Impressive oral and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with professional networks like LinkedIn and Github

  • Sound decision making ability

  • Ability to work independently
