Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and righteous Barrister to help clients in matters of law. You will be advising clients on high court proceedings and representing the case in court. As a Barrister and Solicitor, you will be responsible for suggesting negotiation deals. Besides this, you should be able to prepare all legal and supporting documents.

To excel in this legal profession, you should own strong analytical skills that will help you in interpreting the law. Furthermore, your research skills will aid in gathering and deciphering evidence. You will be examining and cross-examining witnesses based on their statements. 

As a part of our law firm and when in court, you will be responsible for providing legal services while maintaining integrity. You will be liaising with other legal professionals to present a two-sided appeal to the jury.

  • Understanding the case proceedings clearly

  • Preparing and managing legal briefs

  • Arriving at an opinion upon studying the case

  • Conducting extensive legal research

  • Preparing clients for court hearings

  • Gathering and preparing legal documents 

  • Presenting legal arguments in court

  • Cross questioning witnesses and clients when called to the bar

  • Examining witnesses and their statement records

  • Drafting legal documents that are relevant to the case

  • Liaising with other legal professionals to negotiate settlements

  • Representing clients appeal and bail hearings

  • Establishing common law via written opinions

  • Gathering and conducting, and in-depth analysis of evidence

  • Summarizing case proceedings to the clients

  • Maintaining written records of case summaries 

  • Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the case

  • Presenting supporting documents to the jury


  • Bachelor’s degree in Law

  • A certification in the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC)

  • 5+ years of experience as a Barrister or a similar role in the Legal industry

  • Holding a valid legal license

  • Excellent research and debating skills

  • An eye for detail and good listening skills

  • Ability to maintain composure and confidentiality 

  • Good analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Complete knowledge of legal practices and procedures

  • Abiding by the law when providing advocacy services

  • Basic computer skills
