Job Overview

Our company is looking for a qualified Materials Manager to oversee our catalogue and purchasing performance of all the materials and supplies that our business requires. To be successful in this role, you need to be an excellent organizer with excellent record-keeping skills. You need to be proficient in inventory management system and demonstrate amazing problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities include analyzing, budgeting and finding vendors. Eventually, your duty is to  make sure that our company has sufficient amount of materials needed for every department.

  • Determine the supply needs by cooperating with other managers

  • Maintain friendly relationships with suppliers

  • Supervise the distribution of supplies

  • Oversee, evaluate and teach subordinates

  • Manage and supervise warehouse methods and receiving

  • Purchase specific material and supplies when required

  • Plan future orders by predicting the demands

  • Keep and maintain the records of materials, supplies and all other activities


  • Bachelors in Logistics or similar field

  • 2 - 3 years experience of working as a Materials Manager

  • Outstanding knowledge of inventory management system and supply chain management

  • Outstanding experience of SAP MM

  • Great know how of receiving and shipping

  • Excellent knowledge of budgeting and forecasting

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

  • Excellent problem solving and time management qualities

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills
