Job Overview 

We are excited to announce that we are hiring a competent and experienced Speech Writer for our Marketing department. 

Your primary goal will be to write an appropriate speech for the Speaker. As a Speech Writer, you will be responsible for performing extensive research on various topics, facts, and statistics. You will also be responsible for transforming ideas, and messages in the form of speeches. 

You should study the Speakers tone, voice, and overall style. You should also complete the speech as prior to the allotted deadline. To be successful as a Speech Writer, you should have sound knowledge of public speaking abilities.  

Apart from this, you should have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for details. You should also have good time management skills and outstanding decision-making abilities.

  • Understanding the clients' requirements. 

  • Performing thorough research on facts. 

  • Cross-checking on the statistics. 

  • Writing speech using appropriate structure and flow. 

  • Creating an outline of the speech accordingly. 

  • Checking the grammar in the speech. 

  • Composing editorial, press release, and articles. 

  • Assisting the Speaker in delivering a proper speech. 

  • Ensuring the speech content is suitable for the Speaker. 

  • Taking feedback from the Speaker and other team members. 

  • Making corrections in the speech as per the feedback. 

  • Ensuring the speech is clear to the audience. 

  • Incorporating visual aids and props in the speech. 

  • Adding adequate humor in the speech. 

  • Providing tips and advice to the Speaker. 

  • Staying abreast of the latest trends in the industries. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field. 

  • Working experience as a Speech Writer, or a similar role in the Marketing industry. 

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of technical writing. 

  • Good time management skills. 

  • Ability to take feedback in a proactive manner. 

  • Ability to meet the deadline of the project. 

  • A close eye for detail for accuracy. 

  • Ability to take last-minute decisions. 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Demonstrate excellent public speaking abilities. 

  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work independently. 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize them.
