As a Sports Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns. You will also be responsible for measuring and analyzing the performance metrics and KPIs.

  • Understanding the target sports audience and creating awareness among them. 

  • Developing effective marketing strategies and campaigns. 

  • Creating campaigns on the upcoming sports events. 

  • Looking out for sponsorship for sports teams. 

  • Coordinating with the Designer to create various logo designs. 

  • Producing innovations and appealing content. 

  • Selling products and services of the sports team. 

  • Using the analytical tools to understand the performance of the campaigns. 

  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with the Brand Representatives. 

  • Enhancing the brand image of the sports team. 

  • Managing the promotional activities and communications. 

  • Interacting with the audience on both online and offline modes. 

  • Identifying the organization’s success and revenue. 

  • Attending meetings, daily standups, and conferences. 

  • Staying updated with the latest trends in the sport industry. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 

  • Proven work experience in the Marketing department as a Sport Marketing Manager, or a similar position. 

  • A formal apprentice in a sport organization will be an added advantage. 

  • Demonstrate excellent ability to write in a creative manner. 

  • Strong knowledge of website analytics tools. 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Showcase knowledge and understanding of social media marketing. 

  • Ability to meet project deadlines. 

  • Demonstrate excellent time management abilities. 

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Good analysis and reporting skills. 

  • Ability to understanding the target audience. 

  • Good critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
