We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Music Director.

As a Music Director, you will be responsible for conducting and leading the music group for events such as concerts, church choirs, orchestras, films, television, or radio shows. You will also be responsible for providing training sessions to the musicians as per the event requirements.

Moreover, you should have a phenomenal knowledge of various musical instruments. You should possess excellent presentation skills as you will be the face of our music group. In addition to this, you should be able to manage time and be able to work for a long period of time.

Responsibilities 

• Noting down the requirements of the music program. 

• Arranging auditions for new talent and musicians.

• Planning the music performance schedule according to the group’s availability.

• Directing the musical group.

• Selecting and planning the music as per the musicians.

• Achieving maximum effect of the music execution.

• Evaluating the tone, rhythm, and volume of the music performance.

• Attending meetings and suggesting improvements in the performance.

• Selecting the lead singer for each performance.

• Understanding the capabilities of each musician and guiding him/her accordingly.

• Planning and preparing the budget.

• Supervising the rehearsal sessions.

• Maintaining the musical instruments in good order and condition regularly.

• Working in collaboration with Music Producer, Music Editor, and other team members.

• Providing coaching sessions to the musicians if needed.

• Researching on various music industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Music Director, Music Producer, or a similar position in the Media industry.

• Strong understanding of various music techniques.

• An excellent ear for music.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding experience in hosting music events and programs.

• Exceptional time management skills.

• Proficient in audio editing software such Adobe Audition, Logic Pro X, GarageBand, etc.

• Ability to work in teams and independently as and when required.

• Demonstrate excellent multitasking skills.

• A creative individual who always thinks outside the box.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work for flexible hours.

• Good knowledge of various musical instruments.

• Ability to make last-minute decisions efficiently.

• Willingness to travel as and when required.

• A keen eye for details.
