Job Overview  

We are looking forward to hiring a qualified candidate to join us as a Sales Engineer on an immediate basis. You will be responsible for identifying customers' needs and preparing a structured sales plan. You will also be responsible for creating a solid presentation for the prospective customers.  

As a Sales Engineer, you should have sound technical knowledge of the products and services offered by the company. You should be excellent at presenting product demos to the customers. In addition to this, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time.

  • Understanding all the technical aspects of the products and services.  

  • Developing a strategic sales plan.  

  • Knowing and noting down the customers' specifications.  

  • Preparing sales presentations and product demos.  

  • Researching in detail about the competitors' products and services.  

  • Working in collaboration with the Product and the Sales team members.  

  • Creating sales reports by analyzing all the sales information.  

  • Managing to sell products and generate billing receipts.  

  • Recommending short-term and long-term goals for the sales team.  

  • Maintaining a strong relationship with the old and existing customers.  

  • Communicating with the Research and Development department for future improvements.  

  • Providing training sessions for the sales staff members.  

  • Assisting the customers in resolving problems related to the products.  

  • Attending conferences and workshops to gain knowledge.  

  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.  


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.  

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, or a similar role in the Sales Department.  

  • Sound knowledge of products and services offered by the company.  

  • Ability to work in a stressful working environment.  

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  

  • A sharp eye for details for accuracy.  

  • Ability to solve customers' problems instantly.  

  • Ability to multitask efficiently.  

  • Quick decision-making abilities.  

  • Willingness to travel as and when required.  

  • Ability to work in a team environment or individually.  

  • Good technical and presentation skills.  

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
