We are looking for a Service Writer with proven experience in the Sales industry to join our company on a  full-time basis. You will be acting as an intermediary between the clients and service technicians. You will be responsible for scheduling service appointments and communicating the same to the customers.

In addition to this, you should be able to review and place orders for motors parts and any other components. You should be detail-oriented and have the ability to verify vehicle documents and ownership details. Besides, you should be able to communicate to clients the service costs and time required.

Also, you should actively pitch ongoing marketing offers to the customers. You should also maintain a record of customer contact details and update the same on a regular basis. As a Service Writer, you should always hold calm composure and a professional demeanor. Furthermore, you should be able to offer excellent customer assistance at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Updating and maintaining customer records and files

  • Monitoring upcoming servicing schedule and booking future appointments

  • Calling and reminding customers about service appointments

  • Coordinating with the Service Technicians in understanding the approximate servicing time required

  • Placing orders for any auto parts required

  • Communicating the servicing costs to the customers

  • Preparing and handing out service instruction manuals 

  • Entering the repair/service details into the company’s database

  • Cross-checking motor/auto warranty and insurance details

  • Conducting service follow-up calls and gathering feedback from customers

  • Writing down any customer complaints and service requests

  • Addressing customer queries via phone calls and emails

  • Keeping the customers up-to-date with their service schedule

  • Pitching new servicing offers to customers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven work experience in the Sales department

  • Good computer skills

  • Basic technical knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Having an eye for detail

  • Displaying a professional and calm composure

  • Ability to offer excellent customer support
