Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Mall Security Guard with the ability to offer exceptional security services. You should be able to perform regular security checks to avoid any property damage or injury to people. To qualify for this post, you should be highly trained and hold a valid guard license. 

You will be inspecting people and vehicles at the entry point and authorizing entry thereafter. Additionally, you should monitor surveillance equipment regularly to avoid any technical glitches. You should be in your complete security uniform at all times and maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards.

You should have a calm composure and a welcoming personality. Besides, you should act lawfully during emergencies. Your ability to troubleshoot any minor equipment malfunctions will give you an upper hand. You should be physically fit and mentally agile to ace in your job role.

Responsibilities

• Performing regular security checks and patrols

• Maintaining a record of any criminal activity or irregularities

• Providing crowd control and assisting visitors and staff during emergencies

• Offering asset protection when required

• Contacting emergency services like firefighters, law enforcement officers, and medical help when needed

• Escorting people and staff members to safety

• Inspecting people, vehicles, and other belongings at entrances and exits

• Ensuring minimal to zero damage to people and property

• Monitoring surveillance equipment to access its working condition

• Maintaining a report of daily activities

• Ringing alarms to notify people of any unusual circumstances

• Informing violators and suspects of security breaches

• Noting the time and obtaining signatures at entrances and exits when required

• Identifying and troubleshooting malfunctions

• Observing any signs of disorder and criminal activities

• Maintaining lawful behavior during the defense

• Providing first aid services during emergencies

• Coordinating with  the Mall Security Officer or Time Security Officer and other security professionals very well

Requirements

• High school diploma or degree in any subject

• Proven work experience in the security industry

• Participation in any security training program

• Holding a valid license

• Good physical and mental stamina

• Knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols

• Having a clean criminal record

• Ability to maintain calm composure in stressful situations

• Excellent observation skills

• Good communication skills
