We are searching for a skilled and experienced Credit Officer to join our Credit Department for the bank, credit union or office.
You should be providing provision lending to the clients by assessing paperwork and creditworthiness.
As a Credit Officer, your responsibilities include
evaluating the client’s financial information
creating credit scoring models
calculating risks factors involved and
processing loan applications.
You should be able to educate our clients about the various lending procedures. In addition to this, you should have an amazing customer service experience. Your ultimate goal will be helping our clients obtain loans and making sure that all the processes are in compliance with the law.

Maintaining and updating records of loan applications.
Reviewing loan requests and planning payment setups.
Keeping in touch with clients for gathering financial services documentation and other required documents.
Offering different types of loan options to applicants based on the analysis of their applications.
Interviewing clients to get the necessary information for the loan application.
Monitoring the progress and financial status of existing loans.
Following up with clients about loan renewals.
Assessing creditworthiness and the risks involved.
Calculating accurate financial ratios (credit scores and interest rates).
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Finance or related field.
Strong understanding of lending procedures and products.
Ability to create financial spreadsheets.
Outstanding attention to detail for accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Amazing time management skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure as and when required.
Good decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team if required.
