Our Accounting department is seeking for an experienced candidate to join us as a Tax Specialist.
As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing all the tax audits of the company. You will also be responsible for researching on the various tax laws. Moreover, you should be submitting the tax documents before the due date.
To be a successful Tax Specialist, you should hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. You should possess an extraordinary analytical and logical reasoning ability. You should also have good communication skills and the ability to meet client's demands.

Conducting sales tax audits.
Preparing annual and quarterly annual tax compliance.
Understanding and researching on tax laws.
Meeting the clients and educating them with the best practices.
Maintaining a healthy relationship with the clients.
Recommending tax improvements in the company's process.
Submitting the tax before the settlement dates.
Liaising HM Revenue and customs.
Supervising projects as assigned by the Tax Manager.
Utilizing and managing tax reporting software.
Filling and submitting the tax forms.
Identifying tax risks and developing tax strategies.
Maintaining tax balance on the general ledger.
Monitoring legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
Preparing state and federal income tax.
Managing tax provision and tax compliance procedures.
Ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations.
Bachelors in Commerce, Accounting, or MA in Taxation. Master's degree in the Accounting discipline.
Proven work experience in the Accounting department as a Tax Specialist, Tax Manager, or a similar position.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification will be mandatory.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Sound knowledge and understanding of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
Proficient in Tax reporting software such as SAP, UltraTax, and many others.
Good analytical and logical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A sharp eye for details for accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Extraordinary mathematics and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitasks efficiently.
