Job Overview 

We are looking for a reliable and physically strong individual to join us as a Construction Laborer. You should be able to clear the work sites before and after work. Besides, you should be able to operate heavy machinery and have familiarity with different hand and power tools. 

You will be coordinating your day-to-day operations with the Construction Manager. Also, you should be able to clear and divert traffic during busy hours. You should be able to load and unload construction materials and assist with transporting the same.  

As a Construction Laborer, you should be able to work in extreme weather conditions and for long, flexible hours. In addition to this, you should be willing to travel to different work sites and have highly motivated personality. Your ability to multitask and effective time management will be beneficial.

Responsibilities 

• Operating different construction equipment and machinery 

• Preparing and clearing the construction sites of any debris before the work begins 

• Assisting with loading and unloading of construction materials 

• Following the instructions given by Construction Engineer and Construction Manager 

• Cleaning the work site of any debris and equipment after completion of work 

• Assisting in building and demolishing various structures 

• Mixing concrete, grout, and plastering solutions 

• Ensuring that the construction equipment and machinery is in working order 

• Installing traffic control devices during busy hours to divert traffic 

• Digging trenches when required 

• Assisting in surveying construction sites and measuring road dimensions 

Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Proven work experience as a Construction Laborer, Construction Worker, Concrete Laborer, or a similar role in the Construction industry 

• Familiarity with different hand and power tools like bolster, brick hammer, circular saw, and concrete mixer 

• Knowledge of the industry safety and health protocols 

• Familiarity in operating heavy machinery like bulldozers, backhoe, and trenchers 

• Excellent physical and mental stamina 

• Ability to work for long hours and in extreme weather conditions 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Strong time management and multitasking skills 

• Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual 

• Ability to offer excellent customer service
